Temporary email frequently asked questions
Understand the limitations before choosing an inbox. Compatibility with every website is not guaranteed and temporary email is not a permanent primary address.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Register and sign in to TiTo Mail before creating an inbox in your dashboard. The homepage does not provide an anonymous address without registration.
Can I send email?
No. Temporary inboxes are receive-only. Password reset codes and security notifications are transactional messages sent by the website, not a user email-sending feature.
Why is a third-party verification code missing?
Check the complete address, domain and inbox lifetime, confirm the inbox has not expired, and refresh its message list. The sender may delay the message, reject disposable domains or encounter delivery problems.
Requesting a code does not prove that mail was sent. Check the sender’s instructions and avoid repeated requests. TiTo Mail cannot guarantee compatibility with all platforms.
How long does an inbox last?
Choose 1, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days when creating it; extensions are available. Access ends at expiry and automatic cleanup starts after more than 24 hours. Save important messages and extend before expiry rather than relying on a cleanup grace period.
Is a real email required or verified at registration?
No. Recovery email is optional and registration does not send a code. You can add or change it later in Account settings using your current password. Use a permanent email you control and check for typing mistakes.
How do I reset my website password?
Use Forgot password with your username and saved recovery email. For a matching account the system sends a single-use six-digit code, valid for 10 minutes. A successful reset revokes existing sessions.
The request response is deliberately the same regardless of account matching, so it does not confirm delivery. Check your permanent inbox and spam folder. An account without a previously saved email cannot use this recovery workflow.
What privacy does temporary email provide?
Using a disposable address for non-critical purposes can reduce how often you disclose your permanent email to other websites. It does not mean complete anonymity or end-to-end encryption. Do not receive sensitive information or share passwords, inbox credentials or verification codes.
Should I use it for permanent account recovery elsewhere?
No. Expiry and cleanup can remove your ability to recover another account. Use your own long-term email for important accounts.
